4th Grade Visits the State House
Grades 1-7 participated in “Similarity Awareness” assemblies on Monday. Chandler Bullard from UNH’s Northeast Passage talked with students about what it is like to be in a wheelchair. Students had time to ask great questions. Students had the opportunity to use sports wheelchairs and play active games. It is hoped that non-disabled students will see the similarities instead of the differences between themselves and their peers with disabilities.
